Complete Streets Forum

On Wednesday, April 29, Miami-Dade leaders will join more than 100 traffic engineers and planners for the “2015 Complete Streets Forum.” The event is themed: “Beyond the Car: Implementing Complete Streets to Achieve Safer, Inviting Corridors and Gateways.” National, state and local speakers will offer best practices for improving roadways for pedestrians and cyclists of all ages and abilities. The public is invited to be part of discussions, taking place from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at Miami Dade Community College, Wolfson Campus, Building #2, Batten Room #2106, 300 NE 2nd Ave., Miami. The event is free and advanced registration is required.

Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run

The 5K race, that promotes fitness and friendly corporate competition, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. The party starts at 5pm and the race kicks off at 6:45pm at Bayfront Park. Biscayne Green

The Biscayne Green project proposes to establish a new public green space and enhance tree coverage by converting the median parking on Biscayne Boulevard (SE 2nd Street to AmericanAirlines Arena) into a linear park open/green space area.

Art Days 2015 Micro Grants Available

The Miami DDA is making funds available to subsidize the costs that Downtown Miami based artists and arts and culture organizations incur organizing additional projects or events to take place during Art Days 2015 on September 11, 12 and 13. The deadline to submit the application is May 22, 2015 at 5pm.

2015 Greater Downtown Residential Real Estate Report

Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 14-15-02

The Downtown Development Authority (Miami DDA) is soliciting qualification packages to establish a list of pre-qualified consulting firms on an as-needed basis to provide a variety of planning, engineering, architecture and design services for future plans, studies, etc. throughout Downtown Miami and the Miami DDA district. Please note, the deadline for RFQ submittal is March 16, 2015.
