Art Days - September 19-21

Join over 100 arts and culture institutions, galleries and artists in Downtown Miami for three days of unique cultural experiences during the third annual Art Days! The Miami DDA along with the cultural spaces and artists residing in Downtown Miami have come together to present over 170 free events (unless otherwise noted) packed into three fun-filled days, September 19-21, 2014. Exhibitions, The Fringe, walking tours, bike tours, art parties, family programming and much more.

A Cornucopia of Culture in DWNTWN Miami!

Explore over 170 free events, packed into three fun-filled days, across a multitude of arts and culture institutions and artist spaces in Downtown Miami during Art Days. Miami Spice - Aug 1 through Sept 30, 2014

Feed your inner foodie and discover the tropical fusion of ingredients that makes Miami dining so wonderfully out of the ordinary during August and September, when Miami's top restaurants will be offering three-course meals (Lunch $23 and Dinner $39) featuring signature dishes created by world-renowned chefs.

DPFR 2014-2015

The Miami DDA provides grants/funding to special events and/or projects that take place in Downtown, have an economic impact on the area, and strengthen Downtown Miami’s recognition as a vibrant and exciting destination for residents and visitors. The DPFR 2014-2015 grants will cover events/projects between November 1, 2014 and October 31, 2015.

Coordinator/Manager - Planning and Transportation

The Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is seeking a Manager/Coordinator of Planning and Transportation. Position is responsible for planning, research, program development, strategic implementation of downtown-focused urban planning, land use, transportation, social services, GIS and environmental initiatives.



GIS & 3D Model Intern Position

The Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is seeking an intern with knowledge and experience in urban design, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and digital 3-D Modeling. Position will be responsible for the creation of multi-dimensional objects and the development of 3-D web scenes utilized in communicating development proposals and implementation plans within Downtown Miami. Familiarity with CityEngine and SketchUp is mandatory. Knowledge of Python programming and coding is a plus.
